JJD teamed up with the Orthopaedic Implant Company (OIC) to develop an Intramedullary Nail system. This included a range of implant nails and the associated instruments along with surgical animations. Business Development in UAE
JJD collaborated with Active Design UK, to bring their evidence-based 24-7 postural management solutions to the UAE. The project involved studying and assessing the market, deciding on the go-to-market strategy; it also requires JJD to represent Active Design for supply and maintenance of their solutions to the clinicians in the UAE.
Digitising NHS Engineering Records
The JJD team worked with Birmingham Community Healthcare to digitise their existing engineering records of in house wheelchair seating products from 2D to 3D CAD. Keeping all their engineering drawings electronically allowed them to access and update drawings easily, and ensured better conformance to standards and regulations, including ISO 9001.
Detailed study of Orthopaedic Implants
JJD collaborated with Adler in conducting an in-depth FEA study on a few of their implants to verify and validate the implant design’s compliance to ASTM and ISO standards. A detailed recommendation was supplied to Adler to conclude the study.
Rapid IVD Device Design
MedMira and JJD co-created a new design of a rapid IVD medical device that would utilise MedMira’s patented Rapid Vertical Flow Through technology. The purpose of the new design was to facilitate safe and rapid testing procedure and ensuring maximum usability.
